Struggle of Perseverance

Dutch Directors Guild

35 mm Corporate film to help celebrate the first Lustrum of the DDG. ( Dutch Directors Guild).

We wanted recreate the Style of Eisenstein’s “Strike” (1924) to reenact the founding of the Dutch Directors Guild.
We shot it on an ancient 35 mm camera (Arri 2C) on a mix of 35 mm short ends (Kodak and Fuji) left over from various commercials.
All the “actors” are Dutch directors, except for the cruel producer who is a Dutch feature film producer who is playing himself.

Four day shoot on location and in the studio.
Shot on 35mm Arri 2C.
